Independent outcome verification

Your AI says it’s done. Is it?

NeuralTerrain is being built to independently verify autonomous digital work against the outcome that was actually intended—and detect when a change breaks something that was already correct.

NeuralTerrain is under active development. Examples below illustrate the verification problem and are not claims of current production performance.

Outcome checkIndependent observation
Agent claimFAILED

Deployment successful.

Production still serves the previous version.

Agent claimDRIFTED

Rendering fixed.

Target fixed, but a previously working layout regressed.

Agent claimVERIFIED

Records updated.

Observed state matches the required outcome.

Execution is not completion

Intent to outcome, with evidence in between.

Preserve intent

Keep the governing objective and important requirements visible as work evolves.

Observe reality

Compare an agent’s completion claim with independently observed evidence from the environment.

Catch regressions

Check whether solving the new problem caused previously required behavior to stop being true.

Building the evidence before the promises.

Our first phase is a verification laboratory: define intended outcomes, observe actual state, classify failures and regressions, and measure verified completion. Public benchmarks will be published only when they are backed by reproducible evidence.
